Cheaper by $70.99, because there is no return leg to pay for. The catch is you decide before the party rather than after it.
We are showing you the cheaper route on the same page as the more expensive one. Renting first and deciding later costs $70.99 more, and for most families that is a fair price for finding out whether their kid actually plays with it.
What owning it means
No subscription. Ever.
The hardware is yours
Four wired stations, the hub, the cables. Nothing to return and no due date. They plug into your own laptop or tablet.
Lifetime access
Your Party Pass becomes a Forever Pass. The games do not expire and there is nothing to renew.
Your games, kept up to date
Every game you own keeps getting fixes and improvements, free, for as long as we ship them. Games we release later are sold separately — we would rather charge for new work than quietly stop doing it.
It works without us
The console runs with the internet off and holds its games locally. You plug in your own laptop or tablet, open one link, and the games are there — nothing of ours has to be reachable for the arcade to work.
That last one is a design decision, not a marketing line. A kept box has no account on it, phones home for nothing, and holds its games locally. We do not sell subscriptions to play games you already own, and if that ever changes, the trust is gone and we know it.
How to do it

The morning after the party
Both buttons arrive in the same email
Keep it, or send it back. Same size, same page, no countdown. We ask once, at the only moment you can actually answer.
Any time in the window
Press Keep It in your account
We charge the $250 balance against your deposit, cancel the return, and your access flips to lifetime the same minute.
Within 7 days
Or hand it to your mail carrier
The label is already on the box. Returning is genuinely as easy as keeping — that is on purpose, and it is the only version of this we are willing to ship.
Day 21, if you do neither
It converts to a purchase
We email you about this three times first — at day 8, at day 11, and again before it happens — and you can stop it at any point by sending the box back. A late fee of $10 a day, capped at $50, applies in between.
The day-21 conversion is disclosed here, in the agreement, at checkout and in three emails before it can happen. A charge nobody was warned about is not something we are willing to collect.
Decide after the party, not before
Book the rental. If the box is still on the kitchen table on Sunday and someone is asking to play again, you already know the answer.
