Free for 30 families · California
A birthday arcade, lent free for your kid's party
Four kids play at once on your TV. We're lending it free to 30 birthday parties in California in the next eight weeks. It's on loan: we ship it before the party, and it goes back the day after.
Ask for your date
Two questions. Thiago writes back within 2 days. Weekends fill first.
Who's behind this
I built this for my son's birthday. It started as an RSVP site, then games, then real arcade controllers, and that turned into a box.
I'm a parent in Santa Clara who wanted this and could not buy it. Bashcade is a small family startup, and these 30 parties are our launch.
Before we charge anyone, we want to see it at thirty real parties and hear what went wrong. That's the whole deal.
Thiago, Santa Clara
How it works
- 1
It arrives before the party
We ship it to your door a few days ahead: four controllers, the USB hub and the HDMI cable.
- 2
Four kids play at once
Plug your laptop into the TV, open the arcade in Chrome and hand out the controllers. No batteries, no pairing.
- 3
It goes back the next day
It's yours for the party. The next day, it goes on to the next family. The return label is already on the box.
Who can join
- A kid's birthday party at home, in California
- In the next eight weeks
- A laptop or computer with Chrome that plugs into your TV
What we ask
- A short clip or a few photos from the party, sent to us. From behind, no faces
- Ten honest minutes afterwards: what worked, what didn't
- Everything back the day after the party
The whole deal, in one place: how to film your party
Ask for your dateQuestions
Is it really free?
Yes. No card, no deposit, nothing to pay. These first parties are how we test the arcade at real birthdays before we charge for it.
Who are you?
A small family startup in Santa Clara. Thiago built it for his son's party and answers every message himself.
Do we keep it?
It's yours for the party. The next day, it goes on to the next family. The return label is already on the box.
Will it work with our TV?
If your TV has an HDMI port and your laptop can plug into it, yes. Not sure? This takes a minute: does it work on my TV?
What happens after I ask?
Thiago checks your date against our boxes and writes back within 2 days. If it's a yes, you get a link to book it free. We ship it to arrive before the party.
Where are you?
Santa Clara. We ship within California, both ways, and the return label is already on the box.
Who sees the clip we send?
Only us, until you say yes in writing. We never post a face or a name, and anything comes down the day you ask.
Not ready yet? Follow along.
We post the parties families say yes to, from behind with no faces. Open dates go up on Instagram and Facebook first.
